Arguably the biggest matchup on the NFL schedule this week is a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl, as the Philadelphia Eagles will visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday evening.

In February, the Eagles ran up a 10-point lead just before halftime over Patrick Mahomes and company, only to lose it and surrender the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the Chiefs.

This rematch means star Philly center Jason Kelce will take on his brother, future Hall of Fame Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.

Jason Kelce says that he’s motivated to defeat his brother and the Chiefs, but it’s not because of the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss last winter, per John Clark.

The Chiefs hold a 7-2 record as Travis Kelce has put up 597 yards and four touchdowns in eight games, but there are concerns about their lack of any reliable and productive receivers other than him.

Their second-most productive receiver is Rashee Rice, a rookie wide receiver who has a modest 378 yards in nine contests.

Kansas City ranked just eighth in total yards and 13th in points coming into Thursday, as opposed to last season when they were tops in both categories.

Meanwhile, the Eagles have an NFL-best 8-1 record, and they could be the most complete team in football.

While their passing defense has been problematic, they have been outstanding in just about every other facet of the game to this point.

A win over the defending world champs would be a proverbial statement win that could embolden them heading into the stretch run of the regular season.
